USB Record

All of Cello high quality range of LED/DVD Combi TVs come equipped with a USB TV Record feature enabling it to be used in conjunction with a USB Memory Stick, this is not supplied, which can be used to record Freeview TV programmes, pause live TV and fast forward or rewind the same as PVR. The timer/record facility can be programmed directly from the on screen Freeview 7 Day Electronic Programme Guide. All Cello TVs will record Freeview programmes onto a USB Memory Stick when the TV is on standby mode, unlike some other TVs on the market. Simply set the timer, put the TV onto standby an it will automatically record the chosen programme. It is like having your own personal video recorder. This is how it works: 1. Insert a USB Memory Stick into the USB socket which is situated on the rear of the LED TV. 2. Bring up the Freeview 7 Day Electronic Programme Guide and highlight the programme to be recorded. 3. Press to confirm, this programmes the timer. 4. Put your TV on to standby and the programme will record on to the USB Memory Stick even if you are not at home. After watching the programmes they can be deleted from the USB Memory Stick freeing it up for the next recording and with it being digital solid state chip technology it never wears out just like PVR. There is no problem with leaving the TV in standby mode as it consumes less than 0.5 watt of power while on standby. As a guide a 4Gb USB Memory Stick gives approximately 2 hours recording, an 8Gb Memory Stick will give approximately 4 hours recording and a16Gb Memory Stick will give approximately 8 hours recoding.
